Mr. Darfler and Ms. Dunlap are responsible for overseeing the East Coast and West Coast regions, respectively, of the company's Defined Contributions sales program. They will be working in a sales and client servicing capacity, targeting prospects with greater than $500 million in defined contribution plan assets.

"Dan has a long and successful track record in the defined contribution market and is a welcome addition to the AllianceBernstein Defined Contribution Specialist Team," said Ms. French. "As our new head of the East Coast region, Dan's market insight and strong relationships will enhance the presence and success of AllianceBernstein in this important market."
Ms. Dunlap has also held senior sales and marketing positions with leading institutional investment management firms. Previously, Ms. Dunlap was a managing director at Barclays Global Investors (BGI) for more than a decade. At BGI, she was a regional sales manager in the Defined Contribution group and later was head of US Marketing.
