Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Alliance Fund Services for Contributions to Local NJ Community
Secaucus, NJ - May 29, 1998- Alliance Funds Services Inc., a New Jersey based mutual fund services division of Alliance Capital Management L.P. was presented yesterday with the 1998 Community Service Award for its generous contributions and charitable services to the local New Jersey community. The award was presented by the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce at the 25th Annual Recognition Luncheon.
Throughout the year Alliance organized and participated in numerous charitable programs that benefited the community. Employees of Alliance coordinated blood drives, walkathons, food distribution services, bike tours and clothing drives. They assembled choirs to sing at nursing homes, developed pen pal outreach programs for elders, and ran toy drives for needy children. Through these efforts, Alliance raised money to help local charities as well as fund research for larger causes such as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Juvenile Diabetes.
